Jump onto the furry rascal and you will get an extra life.Easy LivesTo get easy lives, you must have beaten the fourth boss and have the bazooka. Then go to level 1. Around the place are those big elephants. Shoot them. There are three elephants. For each time you kill one, you gain 1 life. A better way, is to shoot the elephants, go to the beginning of the level, die, then shoot them again.5 Second Time TrialOn Level 4, Wizards & Lizards, When you are able to go on the time trial you can have a time trial of only 5 SECONDS! To do this you run into the clock and then press select and you are taken straight to the end of the level to get the Platinum Relic.Belly flop powerWhen you get the red gem in banzai bonsani.jump on to the red gem the go to the end find the gem and bellyfloop on it and the move is all yoursStrange CortexWhen you die, and get gameover, keep pressing x (very fast) while the screen is black.Continue pressing it when Cortex comes up, but keep watching the screen. His actions should be different to the voice.Alternate ending sequenceCollect all 46 gems to view an alternate ending sequence.Unlimited LivesOn level 1 after you get the crystal, do it again. Don't get the time trial yet. Get the berries and boxes. Then go get the clock and kill yourself. Do this over and over again and you will have many lives.Red GemOn the Crash and Burn level there is an easier way to get the red gem on the death route. After you pass all the nitro boxes and lava you will get to the part where you can see the red gem from across a gorge. Hit the gem with your bazooka and you get the gem. Then die and it will take you back to the last check point and finish the game from there. You will finish with the red gem. This way you don't have to cross the gorge with the long jump: slide, double jump and spin.Defeating Crunch TimeEvery time freezeballs, beams, or fire comes out, jump over the fence into the inside platform. They cannot touch you there, but fireballs will land everywhere -- just watch for their shadows. There is a series of elements you have to avoid. Then shoot Crunch with the bazooka and spin Cortex. The series is: fireballs, shoot Crunch, spin Cortex, freezeballs, fireballs, shoot Crunch, spin Cortex, fire, fireballs, freezeballs, fire, shoot Crunch, spin Cortex, beams, fireballs, fire, beams, freezballs, fireballs, beams, shoot Crunch, spin Cortex. If you win, you will unlock five secret levels for which you must collect a certain amount of relics in order to open the doors.Defeating Lo-LoWatch where the mask floats and shoot there.Defeating Py-RoHold Circle to charge the water cannon or you will never hit.Defeating: Ro-KoRoll around the side of the area without going in the center. Every rock will come near you, and Crunch will mostly miss you.Defeating Wa WaWhen you are facing Wa Wa, crunch will shoot things at you. He will fire blue beams that you should jump over. When he fires green things, duck. Hop from one panel to another. When you reach Crunch quickly spin. Watch out -- the panels will sink. Try to get a head start on each run. Once Crunch jumps back at the beginning, run. When you spin him the next two times, do not stop running.
