Bulletstorm: Full Clip shows franchise hasn't lost its nerve

Bulletstorm was always rather a crazy shooter experience, blending elements of Unreal Tournament with Gears of War and Dead Rising in a frantic, kicking, explosive setting and that's no different in the new Full Clip edition of the game. Bringing with it 4K resolution, a new campaign mode, new challenge maps, higher frame rate support for smoother action and all of the original game's addons and expansion content.

All of this is coming as part of the definitive Bulletstorm experience, which from the new trailer reveal, looks to be as explosive and manic as the original, but in much prettier form.

However so far the response to the trailer hasn't been great. OIne aspect of the game that isn't going to do it any favours is the introduction of Denuvo. That seems somewhat surprising since the anti-tamper technology hasn't caused problems for many gamers in the past, traditionally acting as one of the least intrusive pieces of DRM.

Some aren't pleased with the price either, which when the game launches on April 7, will set you back $50.

If you pre-order the game, you can get the Duke Nukem Bulletstorm tour-redub mode and up to 15 percent off at some retailers.
