Gameplay Aside, Just Cause 3 Is A Technical Train Wreck

Just Cause 3 is currently enjoying a successful launch thanks to its explosive gameplay, but this success is mucked by reports of the game's performance woos.

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users alike have reported frame rates as low as 17 fps, load times up to 15 minutes on Xbox One and up to 3 minutes on PlayStation 4, physics slowdown and system crashes.

The game has received a day one patch, but that didn't have any noticeable effect on the reported problems.

We still don't have enough data to evaluate the performance and stability of the PC version, but an NVIDIA representative confirmed that Just Cause 3's engine "isn't compatible with multi-GPU solutions." This means that the game doesn't support NVIDIA's SLI and AMD's Crossfire.

As tempting as Just Cause 3's over –the-top gameplay is, you might want to hold off until we make sure it is not another Arkham Knight.
