Description G-Type is a R-Type and Gradius hybrid game which manages to create a whole new experience while still maintaining the original feel of the two classics.
Everything about G-Type is familiar to the aging gamer, the music, the effects, the gameplay but once you try it you have to concede that it is an astonishingly original game. The variety of power-ups and enemies is satisfactory while the experienced eye will notice that the game plays like R-type with enemies and features of Gradius. The graphics and sounds are not extraordinary, since they do originate in classic games but their use is well thought-out and will keep you interested.
