Description Most of you have by now watched some ad for Microsoft's new XBox 360 console. This however, is your chance to see the ad that the Microsoft lawyers didn't want you to see.
It is not very clear why the ad was not given the green light by MS legal but it is rather enjoyable and much better than most of the TV ads for the console that have already aired such as this one.
One possibility for the banning of the ad is that it portrays gaming carried out in real life, even if it is just make believe. The more cynical rumor that it was banned because it is a rip-off of U.K. sitcom Spaced has not been confirmed.
The best ads for X360 however, just have to be the 4-5 video-pranks carried out on queuing gamers on the console's launch night by nasty fellow gamers. In the videos, various people turn up and proceed to destroy various XBox 360 consoles in front of the stunned crowd that is queuing in order to get an X360. To view the banned ad visit You Tube. The prank videos are X360 Smashed and the X360 Car Prank.
