Description Warlords is one of the most respected and popular strategy franchises in the history of gaming. The developer, SSG , introduced the first Warlords product in 1989. Subsequent products in the series included Warlords II (1992), Warlords II Deluxe (1994), Warlords III: Reign of Heroes (1997), and Warlords III: Darklords Rising (1998). The next in the series of turn-based games, Warlords IV, will ship in 2001.
