In what is probably its biggest ever advertising venture, AMD has announced that it will be sponsoring the Ferrari Formula 1 team for 2002 and 2003. While Ferrari were in Milan announcing their new F2002 car, they also released information about the new deal with AMD. AMD has the added task of supporting the vast Ferrari needs for computer systems, with particular emphasis placed on Engineering, data processing and analysis.
