Description The bloodletting is set to begin as both major games featuring Valve's Source engine are about to go head-to-head on November 16, 2004. Activision has chosen that date to launch Vampire : The Masquerade – Bloodlines for the PC, a date, strangely enough already in use by Valve for the Half-Life 2 launch.
Troika are really claiming the game as a revolution in FPS gameplay since there is a very strong RPG element. Since S.T.A.L.K.E.R. has been delayed again it is clear that Vampire will get the chance to pitch its flag on that particular innovation although Deus-Ex and System Shock may complain even though their RPG element was extremely limited compared to Troika's promising title.
