Description DeepLife is a real-time 3D viewer for L-Systems, or Lindenmayer systems, which are compact sets of rules that can describe complex 3D geometry. For example, a text file that is only a couple hundred bytes in size can produce an intricate structure on the order of hundreds of thousands of polygons! DeepLife renders and animates L-Systems in real-time, producing models that can mimic nature, including trees, plants, and microscopic sea-life. Those who are brave can edit the L-Systems included with DeepLife, and create their own forms of life!
