Description This screensaver uses the OpenGL API to display a real-time incremental solution to the two-dimensional wave equation, with a random perturbation as the initial state (i.e. a cool wavy pattern). It also displays the author's name and email address, but these fade out after a few seconds (otherwise it would be a screen burner, not a screen saver). Waves is configured always to run in 800*600 pixels in 16-bit colour depth (for compatibility with Voodoo graphics accelerators before version 4).
