Description ATI is providing an early version of CATALYST 4.9 to users interested in increasing performance of Doom 3. The Canadians are eager to be seen doing something in order to improve the Doom 3 gaming experience for ATI board owners. Although the new drivers do promise an improvement, they come with a hefty warning which you can read, in full, below.

ATI does NOT recommend installing these drivers in systems used for mission critical operations or where productivity of any kind is a concern.
