Description Speaking with Reuters, Mozilla Corp Vice President of Engineering Mike Schroepfer revealed that Firefox 3 has finally "ready for the masses to use".
Until now, Mozilla has released several alpha and beta versions of the popular browser, but discouraged "average internet users" from using them.
"In many ways it (Firefox 3) is much more stable than anything else out there," said Mike Schroepfer.
Firefox 3 is more secure than Firefox 2. It also is more standard-complaint and uses less memory. Mozilla intends to release Firefox 3 officially by the end of June. The remaining time will be spent "tuning the visual look and feel of the program" and further improving its stability."
