Leaked Email: Arkham Knight PC Fixes Are "Months Away"

An internal email sent to Australian EB Games staff revealed that Warner Bros. don't expect to release a fixed PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight until Spring.

Like most game retailers, EB Games had already removed all copies of the PC version of the game from its shelves after news came out that it was buggy enough to be unplayable. After hearing that the fixes are still months away, EB Games decided to send all PC copies back to Warner Bros.

"As previously advised," reads the internal EB Games email. "We have stopped sales of Batman: Arkham Knight PC while Warner and Rocksteady work on addressing performance issues with the game. The latest information from Warner is that the updates won’t be available until Spring. Due to this we have made the difficult decision to recall all PC stock from stores to return to the vendor until an acceptable solution is released."

The email was leaked from the Australian EB Games, so it refers to the Australian Spring which lasts from September to November.

Rocksteady has released a minor update for the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight, but it didn't address any of the major issues. The studio however promised to release a comprehensive batch soon.
