The PC version of Fable 2 has not been confirmed officially yet, but this didn't stop German gaming site, Gamona, from declaring its release date, attributed to an unnamed "inside source" at Lionhead studio.
According to the unnamed source, Fable 2 will hit PC on February 15, 2009.
It is reasonable to expect a PC port of the Xbox 360 hit, but is that February 15th release date legit? Your guess is as good as ours.

Haven't played it, but had the urge to, might exactly buy it since I don't own a Xbox 360.
So do all Xbox exclusives go to PC almost right after release?

Yeah, they do, that's why I didn't buy 360 but PS3. Very glad it's being ported, I liked Fable: The Lost Chapters.

No doubt it will be ported, but I would say more feb 15. 2010 then 2009.
Microsoft is going to try and milk as much money out of the xbox release before porting it over, plus the additional wait could get xbox 260 owners to buy the pc version as well if they include extra content.
Though I personally would prefer that 2009 release date myself

This is guaranteed for the PC... the old chestnut of no it will nevr be released its console only thing doesnt work people arent stupid... done the same thing with gears of war but slipped up when the PC cover was showing on one for their games for windows adverts... maybe gears of war 2 wont appear but I think they will just do a roigh port as per the last one and release it soon ...

If the game is as "good" as it was for XBOX360 -- there is going to be some serious disappointment from alot of people waiting for this game. Fable 2 was such a let-down... waited 6 years for pure utter crap. I put it in the XBOX360 once and played it for about 12 hours before I started to question the linary game play and no concept of real game play value...

Well, obviously the 15th Feb release date isn't legit, since it's been over a month since then without any hint of even an announcement of the game being released on PC.
I'd say that it'll get released around christmas 2009, since that's giving them a bit over a year to add content - the Feb 15 date was just unreasonable.
