Features Player killing will be limited through the use of Player vs. Player zones. This will give players a chance to develop their characters and adventure without risk, and yet still give the adrenaline rush of player-vs-player combat once they have determined they are ready to face higher risks for greater rewards.
Another feature I am very pleased with is the Path of the Avatar. Much like the classic Ultima IV, players will develop their characters through ethical choices not just monster bashing and treasure hoarding. The fact that this is now in an online environment makes it even more compelling, since players will face these choices with each other.
Ultima Worlds Online, is not a sequel to Ultima Online. It is a very different product, blending medieval, ancient and futuristic civilizations in a really cool and bizarre 3D world.
