After more than a decade of developing exclusive Xbox blockbusters, Bungie decided to give Sony preferable treatment when it comes to Destiny. Interestingly, it seems that Xbox UK wasn't able to handle the breakup maturely.

The official Xbox UK account posted a photo touting Destiny, the new fragrance by Xbox." The photo is innocent enough, but only if you don't figure out and visit the site: DestinyFragrance.com.

The whole site is (was) a single page with following text: "Okay, so here's the lowdown. Destiny is actually an epic new first-person shooter, available on Xbox. Thing is, we didn't have permission to run adverts for the game. So we didn't. Thanks for smelling that something was up. Now get the game and become a legend."

Somebody must've broke out to Xbox UK team that this trick isn't as clever as they believed as now the text has been updated to "Hi. There are some great Xbox One offers available at the moment. Please check with retailers for more information."

Destiny will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 as soon as it is the 9th of September "anywhere in the world."
