Neo Technologies UK is now working together with Channel Technologies UK to bring the new Neo3 mod-chip. It will be based on a Xlinx CPLD device, 2 PIC chips, 1 Crystal & 3 Capacitors all pre built onto a manufactured PCB board. At the moment the mod is 12 wires and has tested extremely well. The features are as follows:

Still requires AR2/GS2 but works best with the XtremeFM

Brand new PS2 Boot engine - flawless boot of all PS2 backups

PSX Issues resolved completely - all direct boot inc original imports

PS2 original imports is a possibility - still testing

No release date or price is known yet. Furthermore the new Team is also working on a DVD Region-Codefree Chip, which will be released this week and sells for about US$ 65.
It's a 7 wire mod and NOT based on any PIC chip. This chip will not come together with the Neo3 chip but will be sold separately. |

It works with a JAP SCPH 10000, JAP SCPH 15000, JAP SCPH 18000 and EURO SCPH 30004 PS2! The SCPH 18000 and SCPH 30004 models need a modchip to be able to load the CD. |
